The ACR or the Biosense URS 2AC test strip is another component of the uCheck urine analysis system. This test strip has been designed to measure the Albumin to Creatinine ratio in the urine. The purpose of this test is to detect condition of microalbuminuria indicating kidney disease caused by diabetes and hypertension.

The URS 2AC strip comes in a separate color coded bottle and tests for two parameters; microalbumin and creatinine. This strip aids in rapid analysis requiring as less as 2 seconds contact with the urine sample. Further on, the test involves imaging of the strip at preset intervals by the reader followed by calculation of the values.

The Biosense URS 2AC strip bottle is available in convenient pack sizes of 25 and 50 test strips in each.

1. Switch ON the uCheck device and start the uCheck application from the main screen

2. Register and fill all the patient details

3. 10 mL of mid-stream urine in a clean test tube in a necessity for this test

4. Once the screen blinks with instructions to make the test strip ready, take one URS10 clean strip from the container and dip it in for not more than 2 sec.

5. Ensure all the test strips are completely soaked and dab the excess away on a tissue paper

6. The strip is to be then placed on the color mat and slide into the analyzer

7. Press “Begin” on the application for detection and final reporting
